"We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of the Universe. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do... It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." -Marianne Moore Williamson
Long before Carli was a photographer she had ink stains on her hands from penning letters to far away friends and filled journals with poetry and prose. Since 2007 she's had the pleasure of telling the stories of fabulous brands such as GAP and Samsung, being flown to the Middle East for a campaign for StandWithUs and premiering the 2016 Motorola collection in NYC to name a few. She hasn't paid a penny to advertise since 2008. All of her business comes from word of mouth referrals and her 170k+ followers on social media.
"A rising tide raises all ships."
She believes every job is a collaboration: the combination of ideas and expectations shared and a pinch of serendipity. When not telling the story of brands and couples, she can be seen skipping in the park or creating recipes with her curious daughter Emiliana, picking out the next shade of black to watercolor, or surrounded by books, dreaming of the next big adventure.
Perhaps you're familiar with Carli's brand that she began in 2007 with her then partner John at the ripe age of 23. She's excited to begin this solo adventure still focusing on telling stories, building brands and publishing her upcoming non-fiction book: The Anti-Collaborator + The Art of Collaboration
